Maxi-Vac Warranty
Limited Warranty
Maxi-Vac, Inc. warrants its equipment to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable.
Equipment used in rental applications is covered for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase.
Important: Use Genuine Maxi-Vac Replacement Parts
Use only genuine Maxi-Vac replacement parts. The use of substitute parts may void this warranty, compromise operator safety, and adversely affect the engineered performance of the equipment.
What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty covers:
- Defective parts resulting from defects in materials or workmanship
- Labor required to repair or replace covered defective parts
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Hoses, nozzles, and other components that require replacement as part of normal equipment maintenance
- Electrical cords that have been cut or pulled loose from the machine
- G.F.C.I. plugs that fail due to mishandling
- Transportation charges for defective products returned to Maxi-Vac
- Transportation charges for repaired products returned to the customer
- Damage caused by abuse, accident, misuse, improper repair, or failure to perform normal maintenance
- Damage resulting from the use of improper chemicals
- Damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions provided in the applicable operator’s manual
- Products sold outside the United States and Canada
- Any other expenses, including incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including damage to property
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Operating Conditions Required for Warranty Coverage
This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from failure to observe the following operating and maintenance conditions:
Water Pressure
Inlet water pressure must remain between 20 and 60 PSI.
Water Temperature
Inlet water temperature must not exceed 140°F. If the unit is equipped with a thermal relief valve, excessive heat may cause the valve to open. The thermal relief valve is a protective device and is not covered under this warranty.
Do Not Run Dry
The unit must not be operated without an adequate supply of inlet water.
Closed-Gun Operation
Do not operate the unit for more than five (5) minutes with the gun in the closed position.
Storage Temperature
Do not store the unit in areas where temperatures may fall below 32°F.
Filters
The inlet water filter and chemical filter must remain properly installed and in place during operation.
Flexible Shaft Limited Warranty
Maxi-Vac, Inc. warrants its manufactured flexible shafts to the original user against defects in materials and workmanship for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase from an authorized Maxi-Vac distributor.
What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty covers:
- Loose or non-functioning end couplers
- Defective machine adapters
- Clean breaks in the flexible core that indicate a mechanical weakness in the original core
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Cuts, nicks, abrasions, slices, or holes in the outer casing
- Kinks or permanent bends in the shaft
- Failure of couplers, core, or casing caused by kinks or permanent bends
- Twisting-type core failures caused by excessive speed or torque
- Failure resulting from the use of oversized brushes or cutting tools for the applicable operating conditions
This warranty does not guarantee a specific useful life for the flexible shaft.
Maxi-Vac’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at its option, to repair or replace the defective component(s), or make an appropriate adjustment for the defect, upon timely notification, provided the unit has been used, maintained, and handled in accordance with Maxi-Vac’s Operating Instructions.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service:
- Contact your Maxi-Vac dealer and provide proof of the original date of purchase.
- Return the unit through your Maxi-Vac dealer as instructed by the dealer.
- The dealer will forward the unit, along with proof of purchase, to the Maxi-Vac Service Department.
Transportation charges to Maxi-Vac must be prepaid.

Additional Warranty Provisions
To the extent that any provision of this warranty is prohibited by federal, state, or municipal law and cannot be preempted, that provision shall not apply.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
